This Dokra Durga Single displays the goddess in her most basic and focused form: alone, in command, and whole. Each piece is made using the lost-wax method from West Bengal, which is 4,000 years old. First, beeswax is used to make a model of the details, and then brass alloy is used to cast them.This is what makes the piece’s surface rough and gives it a natural aspect that sets real Dokra apart from fake ones. This idol is 6 inches by 4 inches and weighs 500 grams. It is little but sturdy. It adds focused spiritual presence and traditional art to any place of worship or decorating.
