Description
The Nataraj Dokra is among the most ambitious expressions of Dokra craftsmanship — a 12-inch brass sculpture capturing Lord Shiva mid-dance in his role as Nataraja, the cosmic dancer whose movement sustains the rhythm of all creation and dissolution. Every sweeping limb, every symbolic gesture, every detail of the divine aureole is first sculpted by hand in beeswax through West Bengal’s 4,000-year-old lost-wax tradition before being cast in brass alloy. At 1.4 kilograms, this commanding sculpture brings philosophical depth, sacred artistry, and extraordinary visual energy to any interior space.
