Description
The Singhashan Ganesh Dokra Metal Idol shows the beloved god in his most royal form: sitting on a throne, commanding, and calm. The Singhashan, or royal seat, changes Ganesha from a beloved household god to the ruler of all beginnings. His posture shows wisdom, stability, and divine authority all at the same time. Every decorative detail is made by hand using the 4,000-year-old lost-wax casting method from West Bengal. First, beeswax is used to shape the detail, and then warm brass alloy is used to cast it. This big idol is 8.5 inches tall and weighs 1.15 kilograms. It is a work of art and a sign of spiritual devotion.
