Description
The Three Women Village Theme Dokra Frame tells a story that is both quiet and powerful. The village figures are arranged in a way that shows how strong and united a community can be, as well as the differences that make traditional rural life what it is. The brass Dokra figures are made by hand using the 4,000-year-old lost-wax casting method from West Bengal. Each figure is first shaped in beeswax with careful attention to detail and then cast in warm brass alloy. The figures are set in a large 19×19 inch natural wood frame. This wall piece weighs 235 grams and adds cultural depth and meaningful narrative art to any room.
