Description

This Large Durga Idol Traditional Dokra Art shows the goddess in her traditional form: calm, strong, and with a lot of detail. It was made by hand using the 4,000-year-old lost-wax casting technique from West Bengal. Each sacred detail is first shaped by hand in beeswax, and then it is cast in warm brass alloy, which gives it the unique textured surface that is only found in real Dokra craftsmanship. This idol is 9×7 inches and weighs 900 grams, which is the perfect size for home altars, puja rooms, and curated heritage displays.
