Description
The Peacock Boat Dokra Handcrafted Decorative Art is an excellent illustration of how artists draw upon their imaginations to create artistic works. This sculpture is a flowing piece of art that combines two of the most well-known cultural symbols of Bengal, namely the boat and the peacock. Over the course of four thousand years, a lost-wax technique was utilized in the production of the piece, which is made of warm brass. The first step is to carefully carve out each feather, curve, and decorative detail out of beeswax. Because of its dimensions of 6 inches by 8.5 inches, its weight of 950 grams, its rich golden finish, and its textured Dokra surface, it is an excellent centerpiece that can be placed on any shelf, mantle, or display space that has been carefully curated.
